| The Hutatma Kisan Ahir Vidyalaya and Junior College is established at Walwa by making provisions of Arts, Science, Agriculture and Technical education init. Thus it has fixed the foundation of educational development in rural area. This educational institution has given many science and agricultural graduates, Post graduates, teachers, professors, Doctors, Technicians and class I and Class II officers to society. Thus in really the educational institution is "educational Gangotri" to all the members of this area. Now a days about 1021 candidates (Students) at secondary level and 720 students at higher secondary level thus totally 1741 students are learning in various educational branches. | In view to provide educational facilities to poor and economically backward girls and boys candidates and to make real progress of society the Hutatma Nanaksing Hostel for boys is started at Walwe in which about 150 poor and eagar candidates are taking benifit of hostel. In this hostel free lodging and boarding facilities are provided to students. The another hostel Savitribai Phule Vasatigrah for Girls students is established at Walwa making all necessary and decent facilities. In this 3 storied hostel about 210 girls students are completing their education with free lodging and boarding faclities. At Hutatmanagar-Sonawade Hutatma Kisan Ahir Hostel for boys is also started with free lodging and boarding facilities. The experiment of becoming free from social bindings and social debt has been successful to some extent. Now days in all these hostel many students are living together as a members of joint family by forgetting distinctions of religion, caste and creeds. Now there is accomodation facility of about 600 students in these various hostels. | |

The Jijamata Vidyalaya a separate school for girls only is also established at Walwa. with a view to make educational progress of girls in rural area and to make them responsible person of society equally important to male persons. The admissions to girls in schools are given without making distinctions of caste, creeds, religions etc. Now days about 800 girl students are learning in this school. |

| The Hutatmanagar - Sonawade is hilly and educational backward area where Hutatma Kisan Ahir and Hutatma Nanaksing had sacrificed their lives in freedom movement of 1942. Thus this hilly area is made holly by blood of Hutatma with a view to make provision of education to students of hilly, rural and backwardly area and to make educational revolution of area. Krantiveer Nagnath Anna has established Hutatma Nanaksing Vidyalaya and Junior college at Hutatmanagar-Sonawade in Shirala Taluka as educational memorial of Hutatma Nanaksing. The various educational streams like Arts, Science, Agricultural and technical education are inforce in institution. Thus the backward area is totally changed to advanced area. Today about 1100 candidates are learning in this institution. |  |

| The provisions of higher education for poor and rural students is made by establishing Krantisinh Nana Patil Mahavidyalaya at Walwa as educational memorial of Krantisinh Nana Patil. The Arts and Science wings are in force in institution. Now a days about 450 students are taking their higher education in senior college. | A new educational sector or school entitled Krantimata Laxmibai Nayakawadi Vidyalaya was started at Shirgaon, in walwe Taluka Dist Sangli. Krantimata Laxmibai was mother of Krantiveer Nagnath (Anna) Nayakawadi who had devoted her complete life for social service. She had played great role in freedom movement of 1942. All peoples loves her and called her by name AAI. The school is established as living education memorial of Mata Laxmibai. |

A new educational school named "Hutatma Baburao Kokate Vidyalaya Padavalwadi was established by Kisan Shikshan Sanstha at Padavalwadi in Walwa Taluka and Sangli District. Hutatma Baburao Kokate was born in poor farmers family at Padvalwadi and actively participated in freedom movement of 1942. He was one of collegue of Krantiveer Nagnath Nayakawadi who fought against british rule in freedom movement of 1942. Baburao Kokate had also devoted his life for nation and sacrificed his life in movement of 1942. The secondary school at Padavalwadi was established as living educational memorial with aview to provide all sided educational facilities to rural candidate/pupils and to make them self supporting for rendering their service to society in future. The Karkhana has always won first prize in sugar recovery and also it has won many prizes of crushing and technical efficiency. This bank is now a good economically backbone or support to poor peoples of society. Today the said bank has opened 10 branches in Sangli, Kolhapur and other places and achieved notable sucess in very short period. Today the share capital of said bank is 55.48 lakhs and amount deposited with bank is 8036.85 lakhs. The every person from society is looking proudly towards bank as our's bank. | In the year 1997 Hutatma central co-op wholesale and Retail consumer store ltd. is established at walwe with inspiration of Krantiveer Nagnath Anna and heartly movements of Vaibhavkaka Nayakawadi with broad view to supply pure and unadulterated high quality goods and commodities to consumers like poor and hard working farmers, farm labours of rural area at reasonable price/rate. The share capital of bazar is Rs 1,78,400/- and now a days 3 branches of bazar are serving at different places. In all these 3 branches on an average daily sale is of Rs 1,63,008/- The said bazar is day by day becoming popular among peoples due to service given by consumers and due to selling of high quality goods at reasonable price. In the year 1997 Hutatma Co-Op Dudha Utpadak Sangh Ltd. Walwa (Multistate) is established at Walwe with inspiration of Krantiveer Nagnath Anna with prime view to make provisions of side business of milk production to poor and hard worker farmers and labours in co-relation to agriculture as well as to give right price to their milk and to supply pure and unadulterated milk to society. The share capital of said sangh is Rs 4,42,600/- and daily average milk collection is 41000 liters. The milk laboratory at walwa has capacity to handle 1,00,000 liters milk at a time and said laboratory is well equipped and advanced. In KarnatakState at Athani the chilling plant having capacity of 20,000 liters milk is in force today. |
